Great job! First thing I noticed just by scanning the article is the impressive formatting of the piece, but I think a little more spacing would make it look less crammed. The current listing section that contains just a single sentence was weird. Obviously you get straight to the answer of the topic, but I think you could have added more information that is relevant. Really well written and clear throughout, but could've benefitted from some personality. -Noah Simpson
I wrote my blog on the northern Idaho ground squirrel so it was very interesting to compare the various aspects of these two squirrels. I think it's interesting that the squirrels share similar threats of habitat loss even though the causes are different. - Kyle Rosenthal
This blog was nicely done! As Noah said, the information is formatted in a noticeably different and attention grabbing-way. I had not known that endangerment occurred in squirrels, and was taken aback by finding out that at a time, only 140 individuals of this particular type existed. Though this is the fault of my own ignorance, and the fact that squirrels are overly abundant where I am from, it was interesting to learn that in some places-and with certain species/subspecies-that risk is there. I liked that you linked a video, as well as how you advertised it ("quick and informative": makes it more appealing to the reader). It was also amazing (as well as sad) that these squirrels have remained isolated from others for so long, and that they have been affected negatively because of that. -Amanda Simonich
